Fall Foliage - Gertrude's Nose Trail
Intermediate to Advanced Day Hike

The amazing 1,000 foot Cliffs of Gertrude's Nose:
For a special visit to a most geologically intriguing area: the Millbrook Mountain range.
The Gertrude's Nose Trail will start with some rolling hills of intermediate hiking with a stunning Fall Foliage scenery and continue into deeply forested areas, ending with a most spectacular view - in three different directions - unfolding before your very eyes.
For you to bring: backpack, lunch, sandwiches, picnic, water, liquids... and good spirits !!
Hiking boots always recommended, sneakers ok...
Dress in layers, fleece, etc...
Upon return to the van, you will be "greeted" by beer, water, and gatorade... and some snacks for the way back...
Meeting / Departure:
Departure Time: 8.00 am
Meeting: 3 pick-up locations in Manhattan, UES, 14th Street, UWS
Return ca. 6.30 pm
